Explained Sales and Marketing Manager at sweethoughts.co.uk, Carol Oldbury: "The new digital printing process is already proving very popular, especially at the high quality end of the market where customers clearly do not want to downgrade to an inferior product, either in the chocolate or the packaging. The option of smaller runs is a much more appealing alternative."
However, recent enquiries and orders at sweetthoughts.co.uk indicate that rather than cutting back on their chocolate gifts many customers are actually looking to upgrade their offerings and requesting ever more luxurious packaging to compliment the goodies inside. Said Carol: "Our packaging has always been of a very high specification but we are now making even better boxes and adding more ribbons and higher quality linings - customers are very keen to endorse their brand image through their promotional chocolates. "
